Steve Garcia has taken over for Tammie Scarborough in our Correctional Division. Steve comes from more of a Marketing/Sales/Management background. He started last week and is very excited about the position. He is working closely with Tammie and Veronica and so far the transition has been very smooth. He is actively pursuing new accounts and communicating with the current accounts to ensure maintenance and growth. New accounts are definitely on the horizon, and he can use everybody’s help while on site!

ACC is the proud sponsor of a team running in the 1st Annual Run to Home Base 9K race at Fenway Park! All the proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and The Red Sox Foundation’s Home Base Program. The Home Base Program supports research on combat stress and/or traumatic brain injury with the goal of identifying better treatments for men and women returning home from service. ACC is always looking for ways to support our active duty, reserve, and veteran men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country. The 1st Annual Run to Home Base raised over 4.2 million dollars in support of the Wounded Warrior Project and the Home Base Program, ACC is proud to be a part of such a great cause!

The Georgia Army National Guard was just recognized as the number one state in the country for dental readiness! This is great news for our service men and women and a testament to the level of dental care ACC Consultants Inc. has provided to them. We are proud to be a part of the Georgia Army National Guard readiness team, and look forward to continued success throughout the state of Georgia!

ACC started our community service project at Las Palomas long term care facility last week.  We are providing much needed on site dental care for the residents who have been without dental care for quite some time.  Most of the residents have taken care of their oral health for all their lives, and as their physical and mental health deteriorates, their ability to care for themselves becomes a challenge.  The ACC team at Las Palomas are very skilled at caring for this special population, and get great satisfaction from offering their services.  We look forward to a great outcome from this community service project that will improve the dental health for all the residents in this facility!

11/23/09 -

ACC had several dental care teams in California November 11-16, 2009. We saw over 300 soldiers and had a 98% conversion rate from category 3 to a category 1 or 2 status! This is an excellent conversion rate and what we strive for every time we treat our service members. Our team members took excellent care of our soldiers and helped improve the oral health of our troops!

11/13/09 -
ACC has adopted a long term care facility that houses elderly and disabled people in Albuquerque, New Mexico. ACC will provide dental care at no charge to all the residents! This is a great way to give back to our community and really help these residents improve their overall health!

11/12/09 -
ACC was awarded another contract for the Washington Army National Guard! We provided on-site dental care treatment to 42 soldiers in Yakima. This contract was awarded on Friday, October 30th and we had a van, people, and supplies in Yakima on Thursday, November 5th to begin this successful event!

11/12/09 -
ACC just completed Operation Healthy Smiles at Oglethorpe Armory. Our incredible teams converted 99% of the the soldiers classified at a category 3 status to a category 2 status! This is an incredible accomplishment for our teams and our nation's soldiers who now have a healthier mouth!

ACC Consultants was shortlisted as a finalist in the “Ethics Award 2008.” Many of our stakeholders are helping us with interviews and the students at University of New Mexico Anderson School of Business are conducting the research to make the choice of the most Ethical Business in New Mexico.

The owner and president of our company, Ginny Berger RDH, is the incoming president of the New Mexico Dental Hygiene Association.  This association represents its members across the state of New Mexico and at the National Conference.
